The Axe to The Tree

Why the Faithful Are Faithless

Most believers are not even aware that the faith they’ve ascribed to isn’t built on the truth but rather on interpretations of the truth. For today’s believers, opinions matter more than what an ancient book supposedly riddled with textual errors may mean, and they are, therefore, open to questioning. Also, the many variations of translations leave open many options for personal views.

Yea, hath God said... Book of Genesis.

And so it began when Satan, disguised as a serpent, spoke to Eve, and coincidentally, Adam was standing next to her, placed within her mind the first doubt of believing what God had said. And it continues to this very hour. Yes, but how do you interpret it?

The Bible has been under a relentless diabolical attack for generations and more so today than ever. The millions of believers are running back and forth from one translation to another as being endorsed by the well-known and beloved Christian preachers, Christian teachers, Christian prophets and prophetesses, Christian authors, Christian singers, and whoever else abuses the name of the Lord for personal gain. And they are falling by the score into false teachings, secret gospels, numerology, fantastic end-time man-created revelations, conjured new doctrines, bombastic words, and a fair amount of Christian fairy tales.

As the old saying goes and is genuinely applicable for today, preacher, tickle my ear, tell me something that I want to hear. And sad but true, many are happy to oblige, for the tongue that pleases the ear brings in the harvest. And the old German saying speaks well: money rules the world, and the Q-tip can’t cure the itching ear. Having established the basis of doubting the Word of God and showing you the inevitable outcome of financial profits for those endorsing this spiritual prostitution of God’s Word, allow me to return to the fallacies that millions have been led to believe are Biblical. And therefore, the trustworthy foundations upon which they believe to have built their houses are, in truth, not of solid rock but mudflats before a mighty sea of deception.

Christian fairy tales are replete within both the Catholic and Protestant bodies as well as their offshoots, by which I mean the mainstream churches of today as well as those such as the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Calvary Chapel, and other sectarian groups and so on. Everyone claims to be serving God through their interpretations and dogma and produces writings purporting to be endorsed by their version of God, who has given them supernatural revelations that all too often do not line up with Scripture; hence, their translations, as well as those produced by well-known Christian publishing houses. And the believers are led into the swamp of theological speculation, both teacher and hearer, by the diabolical lures of the evil one, where they’ll remain captive until the end. Or the grace of God opens their eyes and leads them out to green pastures and fresh waters.

The Bible, such as the King James Version, has been attacked on many fronts and portrayed as an old and familiar face but no longer keyed into the newest revelations, archeological evidence, and uncovered manuscripts. All of which is nonsense. It has faithfully done its work for four hundred years and is still doing it today despite the attacks. A child can understand the grandeur of its words and meanings, and the simpleton, in his simple state of mind, will come to the knowledge of God’s saving grace through His Son, Jesus Christ. If you cannot understand the words, you must ask the inevitable question: What did you learn in school?

Christian Fairy Tales. A teaching taught for several generations within the churches is that according to discovered texts and textual criticism, Genesis 1:1 and two should be correctly translated as heavens and wasteland. By questioning the very first lines of God’s written word, the evil one has subdued the minds of men into believing that he destroyed the first earth in a cosmic war, and God was forced to admit defeat and had to recreate the world again. So today, according to this line of thought, we live on the second earth. I believe that Jules Vern, H.P. Lovecraft, H.G. Wells, Ron Hubbard, Isaac Asimov, and Gene Roddenberry would be delighted to hear this if they were alive today, seeing as they were the masters of their trade in writing science fiction. But by simply holding firm to the written Word of God, one would easily read for themselves what God has to say concerning such lies: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea—book of Revelation. But it sounds good and exciting, and it just might have happened that way! And that is the exact intention of the evil one. To bring you to question the Word of God and begin undermining your faith. And what better way than to start at the very beginning? The beginning of Genesis, the beginning of your faith, the beginning of your walk. And when the time has come to end your days upon this earth, how many lies did you incorporate into the faith upon which you initially believed? And didn’t the Lord Jesus Himself warn us of the deadly error of taking the broad road?

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew’s Gospel.

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew’s Gospel.

And He is speaking to those who want to follow Him. And He is telling all who have ears to hear to listen very carefully. Listen to Him and do not rely on your views, opinions, or interpretations, nor upon others, regardless of how good they sound. And here again, He warns us very clearly against pitting the Word of God against our own, saying to those who have ears to hear,

And I say unto you that many shall come from the east and west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

But why will this happen to the children of the kingdom, the ones who believed that they were children of the king? And He says.

For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, sister, and mother. Matthew’s gospel.

And; This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. But in vain, they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew’s gospel.

And again; So likewise shall My heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. Matthew’s gospel.

And again, Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but one, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew’s gospel.

And again, hereby, we do know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. John’s first epistle.

And again; Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke’s gospel.

And again; Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not. Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we Thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee? Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Matthew’s gospel.

And again; Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in the thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. Mathew’s gospel.

And many more things the Lord spoke to warn us, the believers, but this generation has chosen to willfully disregard His Words by not living by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God but has substituted them with the words of men. And that will reveal itself to their shame and disgrace. Almost all pastors will tell you that Jesus abolished the Law and commandments of God at the cross, but that is a blatant lie from the kingdom of hell, for as you have just read, those who do not keep the commandments are liars, and the truth is not in them. And here is the dividing line, the razor edge of your faith, the sword of the Spirit that pierces into the heart and divides the soul from the spirit. Which will it be, the Word of the Lord or the word of a man? All that you need to do is believe God and let every man who denies the truth be a self-incriminating liar. And have nothing to do with such men, and there are many indeed who reject God’s Words. Such men are incapable of discerning the truth and dividing the Word correctly, and as Peter pointed out, falsely misinterpreting Paul’s words, which can be hard to understand. Such men are brute beast’s incapable of sound reasonings, or as trees uprooted or as the foaming waves of the sea. They make bombastic claims to entice itching ears and increase their followers. From such men, turn away lest you become trapped by their words and fall into perdition with them.

Millions of believers have been told that they do not have to keep the Lord’s Sabbath despite it being found within the Ten Commandments, and so they foolishly disregard the Word of God in a blatant act of disobedience as they do what men tell them to. Let us read what God has to say.

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because in it he rested from all His work which God created and made—book of Genesis.

And again, Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Book of Exodus.

And again; For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day. Matthew’s gospel.

And again; But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. Matthew’s gospel.

And again, the Sabbath was made for man, not man, for the Sabbath. Mark’s gospel.

And again; But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Psidia, went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down—book of Acts.

And again; And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the Word of God—book of Acts.

And again;  For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day—book of Acts.

And again; And on the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side-book of Acts.

And again; And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the Scriptures. Book of Acts.

And again; And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks—book of Acts.

And again; I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet. Revelation.

There are more references to be found within the New Testament pertaining to keeping the Lord’s Sabbaths and other commandments, which unsteady minds constantly strive to do away with. But the faithful will be just that, faithful to the One who has called them.

We all know what love is, for we love many things, but are we willing to lay down our lives for our many loves? Love is an ambiguous word used in many sentences, but it is the love for God the Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, that gives us the love with which to love our fellow man, including the brethren and our enemies. Now, that kind of love sets itself above love as the world knows it. God’s love is a sacrificial love, an obedient love, and a love that defies human understanding because it is a love committed to obeying every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. And millions of believers will not make that kind of sacrifice but seek another way into the sheepfold. So, what has been offered is something called the relationship gospel, which is another attempt to circumnavigate the command to be obedient to His every word. This gospel sounds very enticing, lovely, and scripturally sound, but it does away with obedience because, as its adherents claim, the commandments of God were abolished on the cross. And with no commandments to follow other than what the believer chooses, the Ten Commandments become mere guideposts, sin is soft peddled, the urgency to preach the gospel becomes lax, and Broadway becomes a five-lane super highway. And they have forgotten the reason for the death of Jesus Christ. To break the power of sin and death and to set the captives free from continually breaking the law and commandments of God, which is sin. And sin is deadly. And today, it is soft-peddled by most pastors as well as the flocks, and there will be a day of accountability.

Another major problem within the body is something the Bible calls fornication, which is sexual relations outside of the marriage between a man and a woman. I must make it clear to define a man and a woman as a marriage, not between two sodomites or homosexual relations between two women. This is the Word of God as given to man, and the believer must either believe God’s Word and be obedient or deny it and practice acts of fornication..

And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh: She shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.-book of Genesis.

This is a marriage ordained by God, and nothing else that man puts up will replace it, and neither will God accept it.

Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female.  And said, for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

But the disciples of the relationship gospel declare that God is love; therefore, He loves all regardless of what their sexual desires are as long as they call Jesus”Lord.” He accepts them just as they are without preconditions because, here it comes, unconditional love is the most beloved and abused two words in the believer's vocabulary. And the Bible clarifies that conditions must be met and held to ensure eternal salvation. And adulterers and adulteresses, fornicators, dogs, which are sodomites, abusers of mankind such as bdsm games, and other perverted acts of sexual decadence will not be accepted. Again, the Bible clearly lays this out and expects believers to stand on it regardless of opinions and personal views.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

And again, Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Book of Revelation.

And again, in Paul’s letter to the fellowship at Rome, which consisted of both Jews and Gentiles who were struggling with many issues, he issued this stern warning by showing them through incremental steps how a man or woman, for that matter, falls away into perdition and death. I will print his warning in full, so read it carefully as well as the entire letter, because many believers have often misinterpreted his writings and allowed their personal views and opinions to cause them to careen off of the narrow way.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead so that they are without excuse. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.  And likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient;

Being filled with all;

  1. unrighteousness
  2. fornication
  3. wickedness
  4. covetousness
  5. maliciousness
  6. full of envy
  7. murder
  8. debate
  9. deceit
  10. malignity
  11. whisperers
  12. backbiters
  13. haters of God
  14. despiteful
  15. proud
  16. boasters
  17. inventors of evil things
  18. disobedient to parents
  19. without understanding
  20. covenant breakers
  21. without natural affection
  22. implacable
  23. unmerciful

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do it.Therefore thou are inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; who will render to every man according to his deeds. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life; But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

FOR THERE IS NO RESPECT OF PERSON WITH GOD.

For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law; and as many have sinned in the law shall be judged by law; For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Paul’s letter to the believers in Rome.

This is just one of the many warnings given to us concerning our actions as opposed to the law and commandments of God of which we are commanded to obey. And acts of fornication are not to be practiced among believers, but unfortunately, many do until this very day. And because they do, they also take pleasure in those who do the same. That is the reason for the sexual idolatry that is to be found within many of the churches today and the open acceptance of deviant sex practices before and behind the pulpits in America.

I am trying to reason with you and to show you why the faithful are faithless, and it is because you are in ignorance, having been erroneously taught that the law and commandments of God are no longer in force. But if that were the case, then every man could continue to practice sin, thereby nullifying the shed blood of Jesus on the cross and making a mockery of God’s grace! Such wickedness has been taught for decades and has found a firm foothold within the body today by faithless shepherds determined to follow the theological lines prescribed by their denominations instead of faithfully teaching the Word of God and adhering to His law and commandments!

I am often asked why I don’t give chapters and verses, and my answer is very simple: Read the entire Word to understand the entire subject. Giving chapters and verses is analogous to providing a cheat sheet to every student before an exam. You will never learn to rightfully divide the Word by cherry-picking what you agree or disagree with. Therefore, I do what I do and will not do otherwise. And you should learn to do the same.

In closing, hold firm to the word of God. Study to show yourself approved by God. Love the brethren. Be faithful to Him who has called you. Keep the commandments.

I remain a brother to those in Christ Jesus.
