Genuine faith is becoming less durable as cheap grace and easy Christianity have replaced grit and fortitude, and open hypocrisy and the love of manufactured creeds are the norm in modern churches. You can’t say that you were not warned if you had read the Bible. And if you did not read it, you’re being spoon-fed, and the quality of the truth depends upon the consistency of the ingredients. You will know the tree by its fruit; a lackadaisical walk of faith makes for a slippery slope.
It is to be understood today that the Bible is open to personal interpretations, seemingly tailor-fitted for the individual, and the many colorful copies and translations makes it hard to find out which claimant has the “correct” version. You can ask twenty people, and you will get twenty answers. At that point, a hamburger and coke would be needed to settle the issue in silence! When asked, my answer remains the same: a standard KJV without anything but the words printed. No study Bible or commentaries or dictionaries to interfere and muddy the waters. And read it from page to page in faith. You will be amazed at the knowledge contained within.
The very first sentence in the Bible begins with, In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. That is straightforward and clear-cut, leaving no room for personal interpretations of who did what. The last sentence in the Bible ends with, The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, also making it very clear that grace through the Son of God is an absolute must for the race of humanity. And what soul would not want to know of this great mystery? Unfortunately, the vast majority of mankind will reject this supreme mystery and look to their own imaginations and philosophies to make up answers that provide nothing but life-long slavery to concocted religions.
Reading the book of Genesis, where all begins, requires a mind that does not rule out the improbabilities because faith is an absolute necessity and is corroborated by what you see in nature. When God stretched out the firmament of the heavens, isn’t that what astro-physicts now confirm? The farthest galaxies to date are complete, and they have no idea how this could be, but the God who created them all did it on the fourth day and stretched them out, placing them where we now see them. You need to recognize the extraordinary abilities of such a creator and be very humble in his sight. But in his pride, arrogance, and blindness, he prefers foolish theories over facts and lives in denial of God. Yes, the utter foolishness of those claiming to know, but in truth, are simpletons living in denial. And that is what God calls them: men of simple understanding. Yet, listen as wisdom tells you how God did it.
The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginnning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, and my delights were with the sons of men. - book of Proverbs.
This is just one passage to read; many more explain to the prudent reader who desires wisdom, knowledge, and understanding from the Creator whom we know as God. What is also a fact is that when he created man in his image, he made them in our image, meaning Him and his son whom we know as Jesus, the Christ. When he confounded the speech at the Tower of Babel, they went down to look upon the works of men who, once again, had taken it upon themselves to disobey God, even after a global flood had earlier destroyed all life. So, there are two: God, the Father, and God, the Son. This fact is falsely put forth as the Trinity doctrine, with the Holy Spirit being the third person. The Spirit is not a person but the power of God, much like our intellect but far beyond our abilities to understand and fathom. You see, what man cannot understand or refuses to believe; he creates his world with his characters, colors, definitions, and substance. This is how the fairy tales slipped into the realm of theology, and idols were set up for worship.
This leads one to begin questioning the dogmas and creeds that permeate the world of Christianity. What is Biblical and what is not, how and why, and finally, can the Bible be trusted today? And when one comes to that point, it’s just a mere step to questioning Jesus and his words. Then, the door is thrown wide open to personal interpretations and opinions and lackadaisical faith, better known as lukewarm. I suppose that many theologians, philosophers, and scholars have broached this subject countless times, and volumes have been dedicated to the subject. Still, the confusion reigns supreme today as each denomination and organization has set forth their dogmas, creeds, and official writs to anchor their interpretations. And if you were to go to Wikipedia, which I would urge you to exercise extreme caution, or to the innumerable “sages’ on YouTube, whose understanding is often gleaned from plagiarising other channels, then don’t be surprised when you emerge more confused and uncertain than before.
There is another way: reading the complete Bible yourself without the ad-libs. It’s also called “prayer”. It’s also asking for you to exercise just a grain of faith and ask the Lord for understanding because, as you just read above, he has it all and is willing to give you far more than you could ever imagine. The question that needs to be answered is, whose understanding do you want to lean upon: yours, the minds of other men, or the Lord God? The answer is all too obvious, but that doesn’t mean it will be chosen. Pride is a large block in the mind and impedes the flow of common sense from the heart, and birds of a feather flock together.
When I was a mere lad, my grandmother once told me that when you go with the flow, you’ll end up going over the falls. Learn to paddle your own canoe. I did and the lessons I learned did indeed save me from following herd mentality
Did I make mistakes? Of course, and more than enough I admit. But that is the human experience. We learn or not by doing, and life is very complex and not perfect by a long shot, and every generation repeats the mistakes made by the previous as history amply shows with minor adjustments. But the Creator gave us his handbook of life called the Bible in our venacular, and we would be very wise to read and follow its instructions. But man is not known for wisdom but more for his folly and refusal to follow instructions which leads to many foreseen consequences, again, as witnessed by history. Repetition is a common disease to man, and sin is the deadly cancer. And a wise man and woman will take up the Bible and apply themselves to learning its tremendous cache of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but as the child’s play line goes, who’s afraid of the big bad wolf? And that is the attitude of man. Why should we fear a God we cannot see, or much less believe in? It’s just another mythological fairy tale, or so they think. The real wolf is Satan, the devil, and he seeks out millions to devour without mercy. The Son of God, Jesus, is the great Shepherd who will deliver the sheep from him. And man tries to deny them both by creating his own idols to bow down to. All that remains to be seen is what his decision brings when the life is finished.
We all know of evolution, and how it is taught as fact when in truth it is a completely fabricated lie to turn men from the truth of creation and the Creator to a new god known as “Father Time”, and a new goddess known as “Gaia”, or “mother earth”. There is nothing new under the sun and neither are these new false gods whom silly people with stubborn hearts have chosen to worship instead of the Creator who is blessed forever. And even among the Christians, millions of them have subscribed to this new worship of demons by colluding with evolution so that they may cull the respect of men. Deny the Lord Jesus and his words, and He will deny you before His Father and all the holy angels. And you need to believe that with all of your heart and understanding. God does not compromise with sinful men, and neither will he dilute his word to make it palatable to digest. He sets the standard, not men.
Millions of believers have also taken up the fable that Satan destroyed the first earth, and that God was forced to start all over again. This is such wearisome nonsense, and yet, off they go, running to have itching ears tickled! God drew the earth out of the waters and formed it. Later, because of the extreme wickedness of men and fallen angels, He did destroy their world with a global flood, but he did not destroy the planet itself. The bodily earth we live upon is the same one that he drew out of the waters and will remain so until He creates a new heaven and a new earth after he has cast the last two enemies, death and hell, into the lake of fire after the final judgment. People need to read what is written and stop creating fairy tales to tickle those itching ears!
Again, the Nephilim tales are abounding, and imaginations and computer simulations are recreating them for the big screen and big-eyed addicts! The Bible makes it clear that before the global flood, the sons of God, which means the angels, did indeed have sexual relations with the daughters of men, which gave birth to hybrids. These hybrids became wicked and of large statures, and brought much violence into the world. Millions of Christians deny that they had relations with women because, in their minds, angelic beings are spiritual and cannot cohabit with flesh. Be wise and read the gospels and believe the words of the scriptures and not the feeble minds of unbelief. Sex is a very powerful seducing drug and the angels took all they could from the women and the men. Lust has no boundries. And they paid the price for their rebellion. And those giants will be returning again, just as Jesus foretold, as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be before the coming of the Son of Man. Or why do you think the movies playing are showing such imagery? Because it will come to pass. The stories and in some cases, real photos of giants are beginning to crop up and they are not simulations.
When it comes to sexual lusts, it is the cocaine of the ages, and once addicted, is very hard to break free. And when you are a slave to it, you will perish in the fiery passions as they devour you, leaving nothing but cold ashes and diseased organs. The old world was destroyed in large part because of sexual decadence, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities of the plains suffered terribly for their acts of perversion, the Israelites were punished several times in the desert because of their ongoing whoredoms, the tribe of Benjamin was almost decimated to a man because of sexual perversions. During the reign of the kings in their latter days, the women of Jerusalem were called cows of Bashan because they lusted for their lewd neighbors. And throughout the times of the early church, they had to deal with sexual vices such as sodomy between men whom the Bible calls them out as dogs, cross-dressing, effeminism and more which the Bible strongly condemns, but yet offers them forgivness and healing if they would repent. Some believed and did, and others believed not and died in their sins. Not everyone will be saved. Not every patient who comes to the doctor can be healed, and God rejects many because they will not let go of their lusts. There is no such thing as a fornicating believer or one who practices sexual decadence, no matter how it is defined. The church has thrown the doors wide open to embracing this disease, which enslaves millions within its tentacles. There will come that day of accountability, and those false shepherds and those who trusted them will pay the highest price for their acts of fornication. Just as did the inhabitants when they perished in the terrible flood.
There is so much more to learn from the Word of God, but it must be coupled with faith and obedience. It does nothing to read it and then to continue your life as you’ve always done. The Bible calls you to change direction, to leave the broad road to destruction, to turn to Jesus Christ and repent of your lawless and unbelieving hearts. It is the key to opening a new life by leaving the old behind if you would only believe what it is teaching. But hearts are hard and stubborn, and there are so many false teachers parading as pastors who only parrot the same theological diatribes against the truths of God, preferring their own sustenance upon which to feed themselves and their flocks. And it does not need to be that way! You have a choice based upon your freedom to choose. The Bible or the words of men. I do not want you to accept at face value what I am writing, but all I’m asking you to do is to go and get a simple KJV and read it. I neither need or want your money or accolades, preferring instead that you turn to God and His Son. The praises and approval of men are of no value to me, for I am only doing the work I am called to do.
In closing, The Word of God will show you the Way, if you are interested in eternal life through Jesus Christ. But if not, then I leave you to your own devices, and the impending judgment of a righteous God.
