Credit, the devil’s hand to keep a man in perpetual slavery his entire life. To have credit you need to remain in debt. No debt, no credit, and bad credit causes high interest rates and bone-numbing payments. If you want to buy anything, everything is on payment plans, and that is another form of slavery to the financial system. And what about a savings account? The system will not pay you to save with good rates or have you not noticed? The banking system is and has always been to serve the wealthy by robbing those of lesser means to acquire wealth. Prosperity is the amount of debt one can carry most efficiently while living in reasonable comfort. And while those who have cash set aside and are not encumbered with debt are few and far between, they nonetheless carry the plastic card.
And we as believers are to owe no man anything but love. But that is also a fallacy in the Christian world for all too many have far too many worldly posessions, and as a result owe copious amounts to the financial system. Debt indeed is the devils ace of spades in the financial sector and very few are those who have not been taken captive. And as a result have allowed themselves to become indentured servants to the lenders.
Are you aware that when you do as the Lord instructs, you will not be oppressed by man?
ORDER MY STEPS IN THY WORD; AND LET NOT ANY INIQUITY HAVE DOMINION OVER ME. DELIVER ME FROM THE OPPRESSION OF MAN; SO WILL I KEEP THY PRECEPTS. Book of Psalms.
If you would hearken to the word of the Lord, and let his word guide you, then iniquity will not rule over you and man will not oppress you, and in this case I am speaking of the ruinous financial system. The dollar bill is in truth a worthless piece of colored paper that has zero value for it is not based on any physical commodity such as gold or silver, but is based upon the economics of this nation. And whereas the United States is over 35 trillion dollars in debt, you should know by now that this country is ready to implode upon itself.
Haven’t you noticed the increase in costs on everything? Large increases, massive layoffs, ultra wealthy hoarding their worthless wealth, the horific costs of owning a home, seven year payment plans on a vehicle, high interest rates on just about everything, a weakened military, loss of global leadership, open corruption, politicized justice, prisons-for-profit, increasing lawlessness, a decaying educational system, an abusive executive branch, a divided legislative branch,and a polarized judicial branch. In clear context, this nation is divided on many fronts and is in the process of breaking apart into regions of blue versus red. Judicial appointees are issuing corrupt decrees to favor one side or the other, and in the process helping to further the chaos, and not thinking about the consequences that most certainly will take place once the law has been restricted and the enforcing arm restrained giving free reign to the criminal terrorists to steal, murder, rob, and destroy at will.
This is what we are seeing unfolding this very hour in the United States, and by keeping the populace in perpetual debt and flooding their screens with never-ending entertainment, they keep them distracted and divided. The political soap operas continue with the two contenders and their opposing armies of social warriors, and what remains is the slide into despotism, decadence, violence, and debt.
But the true disciple of the Lord is not to be taken unawares of these times for they were prophesied a very long time ago and we are not to take on the cares and worries of this world. Our labor is to do the will of our heavenly Father, and his will is that we are not to entangle ourselves in this world, and that includes its debts. So, we need to extract ourselves from the evilness of never-ending debt through the snares of ongoing easy payments and encouraged loan offers, and live as far as possible a debt-free life. Pay off what you owe in full and do not turn back as the dog to its vomit or the sow to the mire after you have been freed.
The temptations are many to posess as much as you would like to have, but how much of that will you be taking upon your departure from this life? Or to whom will all of your stored goods be given or sold to? Who will take your wife or husband to themselves and sleep in the bed that once was yours? So, why willingly allow yourselves to become perpetual holders of debt until the hour of your passing?
THEN I LOOKED ON ALL THE WORKS THAT MY HANDS HAD WROUGHT, AND ON THE LABOUR THAT I HAD LABOURED TO DO; AND BEHOLD; ALL WAS VANITY AND VEXATION OF SPIRIT, AND THERE WAS NO PROFIT UNDER THE SUN.
and further,
WHEREFORE I PERCEIVE THAT THERE IS NOTHING BETTER, THAN THAT A MAN SHOULD REJOICE IN HIS OWN WORKS; FOR THAT IS HIS PORTION; FOR WHO SHALL BRING HIM TO SEE WHAT SHALL BE AFTER HIM?
And again,
HE THAT LOVETH SILVER SHALL NOT BE SATISFIED WITH SILVER, NOR HE THAT LOVETH ABUNDANCE WITH INCREASE; THIS IS ALSO VANITY. WHEN GOODS INCREASE, THEY ARE INCREASED THAT EAT THEM, AND WHAT GOOD IS THERE TO THE OWNERS THEREOF, SAVING THE BEHOLDEN OF THEM THEREOF?
THE SLEEP OF A LABOURING MAN IS SWEET, WHETHER HE EAT LITTLE OR MUCH; BUT THE ABUNDANCE OF THE RICH WILL NOT SUFFER HIM TO SLEEP.
THERE IS A SORE EVIL WHICH I HAVE SEEN UNDER THE SUN, NAMELY RICHES KEPT FOR THE OWNERS THEREOF TO THEIR HURT. BUT THOSE RICHES PERISH BY EVIL TRAVAIL; AND HE BEGETTETH A SON, AND THERE IS NOTHING IN HIS HAND. AS HE CAME FORTH OUT OF HIS MOTHER’S WOMB, NAKED SHALL HE RETURN TO GO AS HE CAME , AND HE SHALL TAKE NOTHING OF HIS LABOUR, WHICH HE MAY CARRY AWAY IN HIS HAND.
AND THIS ALSO IS A SORE EVIL, THAT IN ALL POINTS AS HE CAME, SO SHALL HE GO, AND WHAT PROFIT HATH HE THAT HATH LABOURED FOR THE WIND? ALL HIS DAYS ALSO HE EATETH IN DARKNESS, AND HE HATH MUCH SORROW AND WRATH WITH HIS SICKNESS. - Book of Ecclesiastes.
King Solomon was the wisest man who has ever lived, past, present and future according to the Scriptures, and his words are to be believed. Why would you want to accumulate riches and debt only to give them to another? This life that we live is as a mere breath in the wind, and it is only to show us that a life without God and his Christ is no life at all, and all of our accumulated posessions are acts of vanity. What counts is faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to his law and commands, and that is sadly what most believers refuse to do, either practice the faith or to obey his commands.
Millions may claim to be followers of Jesus Christ, but according to their lusts, and not the directives of Christ who is the Son of the Living God whom we have been called to serve through acts of righteousness through obedience to his law. We are more than happy to acquire worldly goods, but live richly in poverty towards Christ by being servants to the money lenders and devotees to fleshly pursuits. And it is a terrible sign to the boastful believer to be rich in this world but poor to Christ.
It needs to stop, this insane pursuit of worldly goods for if it continues then the weeds will choke off what little of your faith remains, and you will be found saltless, a withered fig tree that bears no fruit, a dead branch that fell from the living vine which is Christ. Will you remain blind in your sins, claiming to be servants of Jesus Christ while you love the ways of this world? And will you remain servants to the lender so as to heap up worldly treasures to yourselves while lacking in genuine faith towards Christ and continue to practice lawless acts in open rebellion to God? Do not be decieved though you are, and it needs not to remain this way or have you overlooked the warnings that Jesus gave you concerning your deceptions as he warned you to not even let it into your hearts to practice disobedience to his law?
Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are far better than the purest gold and costly gems. Faith towards Christ and acts of righteousness through obedience to his law is what will divide the nations and the people as the Lord taught using the sheep and the goats as an example. And such words many of you have chosen to put behind you as taught by the faithless shepherds who will be held accountable on that final day, their eternal punishment waiting before them if they do not repent of their wicked and deceitful ways.
Be poor to this world but rich towards Christ because money is not the measure of a man, but rather faith, love, and obedience towards the Lord and his commands, and love to the brethren which we would be wise to uphold.
