A world of faith buried under a deluge of opinions, views and interpretations. Is it any wonder that very few take the words of Jesus to heart in this perverse generation? Many call Him, Lord, and I ask why? When you have no intention doing as commanded then your words are an exercise in verbal futility, and outwardly adorned with colorful caricutures of the faith you so loudly exalt. It reminds me of the Lord’s words about the cup clean on the outside but filled with filth within. And so are those who talk the walk but deny the path prescribed by the Lord Jesus. And it will indeed be a hard day when they are confronted with the words of Christ when He denies them before His Father and all the holy angels in heaven because they did not do as told and denied Him and his words before all men. But will they listen today? If they refuse to listen to the Lord, they will turn a deaf ear to His servants also. And then the parable comes to fullfillment, When the blind lead the blind, will they not both fall into the pit? Let them be and you follow the Lord Jesus Christ and be faithful in what He calls you to do. Do not pursue the inventions within your heart and neither your personal interpretations. Let the dead bury the dead, but you are to follow the Lord of life.
Amazingly though not uncommon in these days are those who claim that the apostle Paul abolished the law of God. Now that is truly astonishing that a man is able with the stroke of a pen anull the very law that upholds all things in time and space. You have to be seriously deficient in mind and body to accept that outlandish proposition from unstable arrogant minds unable to rightly discern the words of Paul and his teachings as recieved by the Lord Jesus. I had heard a pastor make that wicked claim by stating that there is not a shred of evidence in the New Testament about keeping the Sabbath. How do you reply to such perverse words? The Lord rebuke thee as Michael said to the devil when disputing over the body of Moses, and my reply is the same. May the Lord rebuke such men for denying the Word and propagating wickednes and rebellion among the believers.
You just cannot choose what appeals and discard what offends. That’s called cherry-picking, and it's like driving down the road on tire rims: You can only go so far before the journey abruptly ends with disastrous results. We have been warned in the very last book of the Bible known as Revelation, at the very end, and I will print it out in full the words issued so that you may read with your very own eyes and hopefully turn to that book and be informed.
FOR I TESTIFY UNTO EVERY MAN THAT HEARETH THE WORDS OF THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK, IF ANY MAN SHALL ADD UNTO THESE THINGS, GOD SHALL ADD UNTO HIM THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK. AND IF ANY MAN SHALL TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THIS PROPHECY, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, AND FROM THE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK. REVELATION.
Now, to be certain, the entire Bible is one book of prophecy from Genesis to Revelation, but for our sakes has been divided into sixty-six individual books, and further broken down into chapters and verses. The results being easier to digest, but also easier to manipulate through the craftiness of men, and they have done a near perfect job of twisting and perverting the scriptures, especially among those of weak minds and shallow understanding. But God is not to be mocked and His Word still stands supreme among those who love and fear His name and hold to the truths revealed within those pages and the faith in His beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. And they will not bow down to false teachers and lying spirits.
Sin means breaking the law, and it means the law of God, not the laws of men. When you read the first five books of the Bible; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, then you will have a solid base of the law to understand the scriptures and how deadly sin is. And when you have finished reading the Old Testament and have begun the New, then you will see how Jesus came not only to destroy the power that sin has over the individual, but how one can live in newness of life through obedience and faith, and not in lawlessness as many erroneously believe having been taught that Jesus abolished the law of God upon the cross. Such lies have saturated the church but God be praised that in these final days He is raising up men to refute those lies with power and truth! Sin makes you a prisoner without hope, chained to your vile passions and desires with death awaiting those who remain captive. But Jesus Christ came to set the captives free to follow Him into life by being faithful and obedient to Him and the law of God.
When you are told to keep the Passover, to keep the Sabbath, to refrain from fornication, to keep the marriage bed undefiled, to avoid unatural sexual relations, not to be drunken, not to be coarse, to forgive and much more, then that is what He means. And what he means is that you are to do as instructed. You are not free to practice faith as you see fit, and your opinions and views are moot, they carry no weight. So, do not be decieved, God will not compromise with you nor accept your adulterous lifestyles. Meaning to claim the faith but live in unfaithfulness to His words. That means you are denying Him and His words by choosing to live out the faith your way. And that is without a doubt, the worst possible choice that you could ever make. That would make a mockery of His death, and that is a terrible thing to do. It would be like skating on a very thin sheen of ice that can give way any second and plunge you into the depths of the cold waters with the shore line too far to reach and no man to hear your cries. One bullet in the the chamber, spin it and pull the trigger. What can go wrong?
Stop practicing lawlessness and begin practicing faithfulness to Him and His Word. Do as God says regardless of what a man says, for it takes great courage to stand up against the tyrant, but even more against the false teachings of a compromised body of believers. Don’t place your trust in mens words but in the author of life. Think now before your mind has become inured against all reason and pleadings from the Holy Spirit of God, and the time of your salvation has slipped away. Please take the time to repent and turn back to Jesus Christ and His words. Do it before the choice is no longer yours to make, before sin has taken you fully into its embrace, and before doctrinal chains have bound you securely within the traditional teachings of men.
I remain a brother to the faithful in Christ Jesus, Our Lord.
