In that He sent His Only Beloved Son into the world that whosoever should believe in Him should inherit eternal life. Believing that He is the Son of God is one thing, doing as He commands is another. Do you recall that the demons know that He is the Son of God and they tremble in great fear? Or the demons that pleaded to be released into the herd of swine rather than into the place of eternal torture? The fallen angels know that their end will soon be here and are in great fear and torment as is the devil. But mankind remains impervious to his eternal judgment about to befall him for he does not fear what he does not know or believe in. The angels, which are far greater than he in all respects, do know and tremble.
And why isn’t man already destroyed? Because the love of God is still calling out to a race of simple-minded people, much like herds of cattle and sheep, content to graze, play, sleep and wander, eat, and drink, not realizing that it is all coming to a catstrophic end very soon. And His love revealed through Jesus Christ is the only thing that has kept man from the wrath of God to come upon a disobedient world filled with wickedness and sin.
Before the global flood, man had reached technical levels far surpassing our current ones of today, and yet that world was completely annihilated and only fragments of their ruins are to found scattered upon the globe, so thorough was the distruction. The levels of violence had surpassed the levels of understanding and blood was poured out like water from both man and beast upon hapless victims, and perversions of every kind were practiced, just as it is becoming again, today. You see, mankind will not learn and has no desire to have God ruling over him, preferring his own immoral and crooked ways, and why not? It’s all he knows from birth to death. The ways of the Lord are far above him and beyond his understanding, and instead of turning to God, man turns to demons and his own imaginations.
And yet, God still calls to a fallen race of men to turn to the savior, the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God that takes away your sins if you trust in Him, place your faith in Him, and do as He commands. But what was once a simple command has exploded into man-created dogmas, creeds, rituals, organizations, self-appointed bishops, apostles, prophets, and everything else that inflates itself against the word of God, making of null effect the words of God and His Christ, Jesus, the Lord. Today, it is every church, every believer for themselves. Every opinion, every view needs to be respected and accepted so that even now devils are being worshipped in public schools and military colleges! And feminism has replaced masculinity behind many modern churches as well as the proliferation of deviant sexuality behind the pulpit. And why? My people perish for a lack of knowledge exclaims the prophet Hosea. The spirit of disobedience runs amok among the people and the ways of the Lord they have discarded. Today is chaos within the body, an utter breakdown of unity and sound doctrine and widespread false teachings and hirelings among the flocks.
And yet, God holds back His wrath in order to save a few more from the coming fury because He loves mankind and does not want that any should perish, but man refuses to listen, and when he chooses to die in his sins, then there is nothing more than God can do but to let him go. It is appointed once unto man to die, thereafter the judgment. Man believes in anything to soothe his conscience, lies being the sugary coating to flavor death, and death shows no mercy to anyone, and the sting of death is horrifying to the soul. And the soul that sins shall die. Again, sin is the breaking of the law, and the soul that sins shall die. What is hard to understand here? Believe what the scriptures teach and not what a mans’ interpretation claims.
When you reject God’s offer of forgivness and restoration through His Only Son, Jesus Christ, you have rejected the only way to escape death and the Lake of Fire for eternity. There is nothing more than a fearful expectation of the judgment at the hands of the Living God whom you freely chose to ignore by refusing to repent of your wicked ways. Don’t try to compartmentalize sin, or to make one worse or not for when you have broken just one commandment then you have broken them all. The Law of God is not to be trifled with or have you never read the Psalms, or more specifically Psalm 119? Have you never read the words of Jesus warning you about breaking the law? Or the words to be read in Revelation? And yet the love of God holds back His wrath for yet a little longer that perchance more will turn to His Holy Son.
The truth is, in these final days, millions of those professing Christ will leave the faith, and they will turn on each other because of the evil they see and fear, because they were lied to by the false shepherds, because their hearts will grow cold, and because of the enticing loves of this world such as pride, looks, fornication, recognition, and wealth. Think on the tele-evangelists who lie every single time they open their mouths as you feed them more of your earnings. Or the pastor who tells you that once saved, you are always saved even as you live in sin. Or how that you will be raptured away into heavenly bliss while the faithful perish night and day around the world for their testimony in Christ. When, if ever, will you awaken to your great peril? You are a doctor? Does that make you sin free? Or a judge who judges without prejudice makes them sin-free? Or the entertaining pastor who keeps you happy singing along in your seats. Is he sin-free? Of course not, because we are all captives of sin, it is in our very nature and keeps us in bondage. And that is why Christ came, to deliver us from our sins, to set the captives free, meaning you and I and this world of sinners.
That is where the love of God is to be seen in that He sent His Only begotten Son into this world to save this world because he loves us. He does not want us to perish in our sins, and when we refuse this gracious offer and die, that door of opportunity is forever closed. Thereafter, the judgment and the fiery lake which was originally made for the devil and the fallen angels, but will now include those who willingly refused God’s offer of redemption through His Son, and practiced iniquities or lawlessness.
This is the sum of the gospel, the good news about salvation through Jesus Christ, and this offer is open to all people of all races of all nations and tribes. You do not need to die in your sins if you choose not to. No religion on earth can save you, but only the blood of Jesus Christ applied by faith. Now, go and get your Bible and open to page one and begin the journey of a lifetime and just believe what it says. Howbeit, may I suggest that you get a good one and not a specialised or one produced by an organization.. In fact, begin with the King James Bible. You will understand it within a few short minutes and it will not take you down a crooked path.
The offer of salvation is free to take, but only you can decide.
