Every one is doing what is right in their own eyes, especially those of the lawless community of believers as they cherry-pick their own commandments to follow or discard at will. But why do they do that? God never gave them such liberties to become judges of the Law, and neither did His Son Jesus nail the law and commandments to the cross
But evidently such believers have indeed taken it upon themselves to be judges and therefore partakers of iniquity, and that translates into lawlessness or open rebellion and they refuse to see the great danger of such wicked fallacies, but embrace them wholeheartedly! When you keep the whole law but are guilty at one point, you have broken them all. That is how serious God takes his Law, and how lightly we esteem it. And the Lord Jesus expressly forbade us to even let the very thought into our minds. But they have indeed done just that, for the rebellious heart will find reasons to justify sin. And the Lord showed us furthermore that the Law will remain in full force until the first heaven and first earth have passed which is after death and hell have been thrown into the lake of fire. Then the new creation will take its place and because sin is no more, neither will there be a need for the Law because all is perfect in God and in His Christ. But until then the law remains and woe to those claiming fellowship with Christ while practicing lawlessness, and teaching others to do the same. And they are very many.
You should not infer that I came to demolish the law or the prophets. I came not to demolish, but to fulfill. For verily, I am saying to you, Til heaven and earth should be passing by, one iota or one serif may by no means be passing by from the law till all should be occuring. WHOSOEVER, THEN, SHOULD BE ANNULLING ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE PRECEPTS, AND SHOULD BE TEACHING MEN THUS, THE LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF THE HEAVENS SHALL HE BE CALLED. YET WHOEVER SHOULD BE DOING AND TEACHING THEM, HE SHALL BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF THE HEAVENS. - Matthew
What is so difficult to understand here? How much plainer can he make it? If you break the Law and teach others to do so, you will not enter into the Holy City of the New Jerusalem, but you will be called a liar and cast into the lake burning with fire and brimstone.
Yet the timid, and unbelievers, and the abominable, and murderers, and paramours, and enchanters, and idolaters, and all the false-their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulphur, which is the second death. - Revelation.
When the believer refuses to believe the Lord Jesus and yet claims to have fellowship in the light, then how great is that darkness in them.
The lamp of the body is your eye. If, then, your eye should be single, your whole body will be luminous. Yet if your eye should be wicked, your whole body will be dark. If, then, the light that is in you is darkness, how dense is the darkness. - Matthew.
If we should be saying that we are having fellowship with Him and should be walking in darkness, we are lying, and are not doing the truth. - 1 John.
Lo! I am coming swiftly, and My wage is with Me, to pay each one as his work is. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Orgin and the Consummation. Happy are those who are rinsing their robes, and it will be their license to the log of life, and they may be entering the portals into the city. Outside are curs, and enchanters, and paramours, and murderers, and idolaters, and everyone fabricating and fondling falsehood. - Revelation.
As you can clearly read, all those who are fabricating lies are not going to make it, no matter how good they make themselves sound! ALL THOSE WHO TEACH LIES ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT! You have to choose today whom to believe, the Holy Scriptures or the worthless tongues of brutish men, there is no room for compromises. Your very soul depends on whom to place your trust, and time is very fragile. Will you gamble eternity upon the rebellious teachings of rebellious men and women who profane the purity of the Word with their perverse teachings? If you do, then go your way for there is nothing in my words that can be of any use to you. But for those whose hearts are open to the truth, let us continue.
His Word is truth, a man is, well, just a created being who thinks he knows. But all knowledge comes from the Creator, and foolish man abuses what he knows nothing about, and Godliness is not what he seeks. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are three chords not quickly broken, and when woven together with love, faith and obedience, a chain forged with truth becomes unbreakable. This is why you need to walk away from all pastors and teachers who will not uphold the Law and teach others to do the same. Such men are imperious, vain in their speculative minds, bombastic with their claims, ignorant of sound doctrines, heady-minded with pretentious spirituality, deceived by the spirit of the times, and lovers of the praises given by men as they perform their religious rites every Sunday morning.
But you who are called of Christ, are to heed the voice of the Great Shepherd, and to turn away from such hirelings who will not do as they are commanded. It does not matter how well esteemed they are, or the number of book sales counted or their appearences on the christian media circus because they are practicing and teaching lawlessness to the flocks. You are to leave them without delay lest you perish in the flames of iniquity alongside them.
I would like to offer you another way to understand if you are still having doubts, to read the scriptures as presented in the New Testament.
- Luke followed by Acts.
- Matthew followed by Hebrews.
- Mark followed by the epistles of Peter.
- John followed by the epistles of John.
- James followed by Jude
- Writings of Paul starting with Romans and ending with Philemon.
- Revelation.
You will have a far better understanding and grasp of the teachings when you see them in this context, my humble opinion. And I have also learned that the book of Chronicles (2) in the Old Testament brings all together quite nicely when read as the last book. However you choose to read the scriptures is up to you, but a unbelieving heart will ultimately be your downfall and cause you to follow erroneous teachings which, as you have read, leads to the fiery lake. And that is a place you should avoid at all costs because once there, it is as forever thing. Which is the very best reason for believing the Word of God over the words of men.
Now, the reason why men do not want to obey the law is very easy to understand, they prefer the easy way to salvation, and the spirit of the times offers them just that, easy grace without the law and cross of persecution. Or how many times have you been entertained from behind the pulipt? Or have been condemned from those presuming to have authority over you, or you have been controlled by adminstrative officials who are not serving the brethern but themselves? You cannot be the servants of God when you are lusting for power. And from such abusive people turn aside, for you will know a tree by its fruit. Would you eat from a worm-infested apple? But you would take your teachings from a lawless shepherd with the results being the same, spiritual poisonings. And the more you absorb from those teaching and practicing lawlessness, the less of a disciple you become, and more the servants of sin.
Sadly though, the most of you reading this will not believe, and will continue to “worship” in the spirit of error. Not understanding that the Holy Spirit of God will never lead you into sin but unto truth and righteousness, and that is the law through grace in Jesus Christ. And when the new heavens and earth are created, there will be no need for the Law because there are no more sins, no tears, no memories of your past life, no sicknesses, no diseases, no grave, no death, no hell, but all things brought together in Christ and presented to God, the Father as Paul wrote. So why your unbelief? Why do you insist on trampling the Word of God underfoot so as to live in sin, because that is what you are doing! Stubborness is as the sin of witchcraft, and you need to see that your sins are deceiving you. The false teachers are deceiving you, but above all these, your heart is leading you down a crooked path, for the heart is deceitful and who can know it? But God does and he can turn you back, if you choose to believe and trust His word and do as he commands.
As I close this, once more I urge you to forsake your understanding and the liars who would take you down the broad way to destruction. Open your Bibles beginning at page one and read until you have closed the last page in Revelation. Ignore every book that would muddy the waters and cause you to err. Focus your undivided attention upon the Word of God and trust Him, Jesus Christ, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Remember that a chord of three is not quickly broken.
It’s your choice and you can do anything and believe anyone, but in the end, you will have to face the consequences of your beliefs if you choose to follow the corrupt teachings of those appointed to eternity in the lake of fire.
