The Axe to The Tree

Just Believe

Not many Christians know that four were already in circulation when the King James 1611 Bible came out. The Coverdale, Bishop, Geneva, and Douay-Rheims have done excellent work promoting God’s word to mankind. Today, it is quite a different story. Bibles are produced in various colors, formats, and translation styles. They are overloaded with commentaries, watered-down verses stripped of words, and even entire passages eliminated in their quest for sales and social acceptance.

Instead of giving man God’s words as He intended, man’s words have replaced them, or have you not noticed the Bibles with a person’s name on the front cover? The Lord will not share His glory with another, but fools claim otherwise.

That said, I would like to encourage anyone reading these posts to pick up any of those five Bibles in their simplest form and start reading. Let the Spirit of God speak to you and teach you his ways. You do not need commentaries, concordances, or to be taught by a man; you would have all you need in your hands. You do not need to learn ancient languages because he is speaking to you in your language already.

Don’t be led astray by those who want to be seen as teachers; you don’t need them. If you pursue men, you will have their interpretations and views, and from there, it becomes easy to fall away from the good path. Read, believe, and do as it says, and you will be amazed, for God who created heaven and earth is far more capable of meeting all your needs through His Son, Jesus.
